Gift wrapper of pinky-red silk satin with embroidery in coloured silks. The embroidery is mainly in satin stitch and is in five different shades of blue. The design shows a long tailed bird with a plume standing on rocks in water, surrounded by peonies in full bloom. At the top of the picture there are four Chinese characters embroidered in black silk. The picture is edged with a narrow woven silk braid and a black satin border. The lining is of blue silk damask.
