Skull-cap of dark blue silk damask, with a band of brocade round the edge, and a plaited knot and long tassel of red silk hanging from the centre. The damask has a pattern of cloud scrolls and Buddhist emblems. The brocade border is woven with floral stems and bats in gold thread and dark blue silk. There is an edging formed by a strip of black satin. Pink cotton lining, painted with five Chinese characters.
