A silk woven, patterned fabric. The ground is 1:5 twill, Z direction, over most of the fabric but varies over the pattern. The pattern is created with lance effects of the supplementary wefts. The ground weft is paired with two supplementary wefts of differing colours (eg: green + purple and yellow or green + red and yellow etc). The pattern is of geometric versions of floral icons. The fragment has selvedge on one side.
