Panel of coarse yellow silk with four printed floral medallions with details embroidered with coloured silks and some gold thread.
Top left medallion: formed principally of red and green chrysanthemums. The green petals partially embroidered, and the leaves highlighted with gold thread. The border to the medallion is embroidered with a pale mushroom silk.
Top right: comprised of various fruits including the peach, cherry, prunus and a bird’s nest. The peaches embroidered with green and orange silks, the eggs in the nest with a plum coloured silk and the prunus and leaves highlighted with gold thread.
Bottom left: formed principally of a large peony bloom, the petals outlined with embroidered white silk. The leaves highlighted with gold thread.
Bottom right: medallion composed of pink hawthorn (?) and a small bird. Some gold thread embroidery and yellow silk highlights.
The panel has been mounted in a light card frame, with a paper covering.
