Doll wearing a robe with wide sleeves of blue silk crêpe embroidered at the bottom with plum trees and flowers. It is lined with pale red brocaded and scarlet silk. The embroidered silk chemise shows at the neck, and there is a petticoat of red crêpe. She wears white silk socks. The under sash is of red crêpe and the obi is of rich brown brocade woven with a pattern of peacock feathers. It is kept in place by a pale blue cord with a gilt metal chrysanthemum buckle. Her hair, which is tied with gilt paper string, has two hair pins set horizontally, a comb and two gilt metal pins, one of which is decorated with a coral band. She has a folding fan of gilt and silvered paper with black guards. She stands on an oblong base covered with red silk. Stamp impressed beneath.
