Lady's surcoat of dark blue embroidered gauze over green silk. The coat is embroidered with green, pink, blue, yellow, brown silks, and gilt thread in satin stitch, French knots and couched work. The design shows eight floral circles: three on the front, three behind and one on each shoulder. There is a design of waves and mountain at the bottom.

The garment has a silk lining which was added later.
