Round plaque with flat, unglazed base. Designed to stand upright on a desk. On the front is a portrait of Mao when young, in traditional dress, and a hand-painted inscription in red 'Ten Thousand Years to Chairman Mao.' On the back is the "latest directive" from Chairman Mao, in a facsimile of his handwriting, concerning the role of the proletariat in making Cultural Revolution.
