Incense burner, of squat form with high, round neck and flattened rim with upturned edge. Stands on three small feet. Made of pinkish-red stoneware, the lower portion of the outside bearing a wash of chalky-white slip. Where body is exposed on the damaged foot it shows pale pinkish-red, which fires to a darker brick red. The inside is unslipped. The upper portion of the body bears a wash of darker red slip, marbled with white.
