Apron for a Hakka woman of bright blue plain weave cotton with coloured bands across the top. The apron consists of one width of fabric. The top of the chest is decorated with a row of yellow ric-rac braid and above this is a strip of folded white cotton to form a piping band. There is a row of pale blue stitching following the outline of the garment. There are matching blue cotton loops at the top two corners as well as one at each side. There are two white cotton tapes attached. The style is known as a summer apron.
