1883 Register Entry: 'WOMAN'S GARMENT, "SARI." Printed cotton. In form of a shawl with narrow side and long end borders. Centre of black, red and white sprigs on blue ground. Bordering of yellow, white, green and black cones on red ground and running floral pattern on green ground. Ahmedabad Jail, L. 13ft, W 4ft.
