Acquired by Caspar Purdon Clarke on his purchasing trip to India in 1881 to 1882. 1883 Register entry: DRESS (Sari). Cream cotton net with striped side and end borders in coloured silks and cotton. Hyderabad, Deccan. 19th cent. L. 24 ft. 2 in., W. 3 ft. 6 in. Bought, 15s. 3d. 2148.-1883. (I.S.).
