Coverlet of unbleached cotton, embroidered with coloured silky threads. Large central rectangular motif, possibly a stylised garden. Round the edges stylised birds on hills, human figures, etc. Embroidery mainly in satin stitch, with some buttonholing. A few mirrors inset. Red bobbles at each corner, with small shells, red, green and opaque white glass beads, and some cloves.
