Object history
Collected in Orissa in 1921 by B.A. Collins.
A label attached to the sari by B.A. Collins (whose identity is unknown, but who was living in Bihar, probably as an administrator), reads, 'Kubta (that is kupta: sari). Vegetable dyed. Ten years old and fgreqeuntly washed. Rs.3.8 to Rs.4 a yard'.
