Stole of woven pashmina (goat hair), embroidered with floss silks. Red ground (some white sections in end borders). Polychrome embroidery in a variety of stitches; satin, outline, etc., in a flower and foliage design. A narrow band of embroidery runs down the outer edges of the side, and at each end is a broad border with large cones or butis, as in a Kashmir shawl. The butis are made up of small floral motifs. The field or body of the stole is plain.
