Shawl of reddish-brown cotton, embroidered with predominantly golden-yellow floss silk in darning stitch. Small areas of the borders are embroidered in magenta, purple, orange, ivory and light green. This is the type of phulkari work known as bagh, in which the geometrical pattern of the embroidery covers the whole of the ground.
