White ground with field pattern of alternating diagonally red and blue medallions, decreasing in density towards the minor end of the sari. Double border in red and blue, with four red corner kalkas (two at each end, the larger pair at the anchal end).

Purchased by Caspar Purdon Clarke in Dhaka. 1883 Register Entry: 'DRESS PIECE. Muslin. The centre figured with a conventional floral design in red and blue; double borders in the same colours. In each of the four corners is a red floral cone. Dacca. L. 13 ft. 11 in., W. 3 ft. 3 in. Bought, 12s. 6d. 670 IS. 1883'.
