Women's trousers of Lahore silk, acquired in Peshawar. Striped silk, green cotton at ankle. Red untwisted silk drawstring, wrapped with black, white and gold-wrapped thread, to make two tassels at the front. Probably worn in tribal areas of the North-West Frontier Province.
