Panel from a coverlet of pale yellow cotton quilted and embroidered with silk motifs in dark red and cream.

There is a repeating horizontal pattern: from left to right a peacock with a crayfish, eel or other fish in its beak, a horseman wearing doublet, hose, and a broad brimmed hat, a pair of birds in a tree, a horseman, and a peacock.

The remaining space is closely covered with flowering plants, deer, hares, a pelican, ducks and other birds. The background has a small lozenge diaper in yellow. Below is a row of rosettes between two narrow stripes of cable ornament.
