Slendang of resist-dyed batik cotton. Dyed with a pattern of stylised foliage and flowers in light and dark brown on a cream natural ground. Either side has a narrow border of a cream foliage design on a dark ground. Each end has a frieze patterned with a design of oval shapes patterned with a dark foliage design on a cream ground. These are placed on an overall dark ground decorated with fine brown diagonal lines which form diamond-like shapes. Around this frieze is a border. At the end of each frieze is an imitation fringe.
