This portion comprises the anda. The medhi, harmika and chhatras are missing. The anda has a series of mouldings to the height of four arched niches at the cardinal points. These niches contain figures of the Buddha seated in bhumisparsa mudra, dharmachakra mudra, dhyana with patra and dharmachakra mudras respectively. The top of the anda contains a square depression to take the tenon of the harmika. Unlike IS.71-1963, this depression is surrounded by a circle in low relief.
