Eddie Squires collated the diverse materials which inspired his designs in nine large scrapbooks. This page records the preponderance of space imagery in stamps, household objects, architecture and films like Barbarella around the time of the first moon landing. Many personal items are also incorporated in the scrapbooks, including letters from friends, photographs and notes on events or dreams experienced by the designer. You can see other scrapbooks by visiting the Print Room in the Henry Cole Wing.(2001)
