Designs for women's day dress of 1886, showing, to left, a sketchy full length female figure wearing a tight fitting buttoned jacket and an ankle length skirt, buttoned boots and a small hat, to centre a similar figure wearing a coat bodice with an open v-neck with revers and a double line of buttons to the front, ruffled upper sleeves over tight fitting full length undersleeves, and a skirt with a short train, the skirt tied back with a bow to the side and with a wide frill to the hem. She carries a fan. To the upper right, a sketch of a tight fitting lace bodice. The design is inscribed with costume details and with an incorrect date.
