The logos of the London Arts Board and the Arts Coiuncil of England are in the bottom left cormer, with a Time Out logo showing the production was a 1994 Time Out Award Winner.

Poster produced to advertise The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol, Shaftesbury Theatre, 18 January to 25 February 1995, a Theatre de Complicite production based on a story by John Berger, adapted by Simon McBurney and Mark Wheatley. Directed by Simon McBurney; designed by Tim Hatley; lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Christopher Shutt. The Company comprised Lilo Baur, Simon McBurney, Hannes Flaschberger, Hélène Patarôt, Christine Marx, Stefan Metz, Tim McMullan and Mick Barnfather. The poster features a logo showing that the production was a 'Time Out' winner, 1994. The production after the London performances and went to Liverpool, 28 Feb-4 March; Leicester Haymarket, 6-11 March; Blackpool Grand Theatre 23-25 March; Bury St. Edmunds, Theatre Royal, 28 March-1 April; Newcastle Playhouse, 5-8 April; Paris, Theatre Des Bouffes Du Nord 2-22 April, and Bournemouth Festival, Poole, 25-27 May. In April/May 1995 the production also visited Munich, Basel, Berlin, Hamburg and Helsinki, and between September and December 1995 it went to Johannesburg, Tokyo, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

Historical significance: The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol was a Theatre de Complicite production which opened at the Manchester City of Drama Festival at the Dancehouse Theatre, 10 January 1994. The narrative of the story was based on the life of a peasant woman from the Haute Savoie, whose story was told originally to the author John Berger by friends from the region.
