Jacket of fine black and white check wool overlaid in beige rust and blue with V-neck and turn down collar. There is a centre-front opening with buttons, 2 breast patch pockets and 2 hip patch pockets. The collar neck cuff and pocket tops are all faced in black cotton twill. The back is pleated and has a half belt fastened with buttons. The jacket is lined in black silk and has shouder pads.
Worn with choice of two blouses, one of black and white polka dot silk with raised neck continuing into to a bow -tie fastening. There is a centre fly-front opening . The blouse is sleeveless with a frill on each sleeve hole. The other blouse of blue/grey and black and white striped cotton with round stand collar and centre-front opening to waist with button fastenings. There are long sleeves with cuffs fastened with a button.
Also worn with trousers of black cotton twill wiht centre-front opening with buttons and zip. There is a welted waistband with 6 belt loops. The trousers have a pocket either side and 1 back pocket.
