Tunic top of different tartans woven in wool. The neck is square front and back and the sleeves are three-quarter in length. Dark green wool blouse with round stand collar and opening to yoke with button fastenings. The sleeves are long and the elasticated cuffs are frilled. Trousers of red tartan wool with a plain waistband and centre-front opening with button and zip fastening. There are 2 front patch pockets.

Sally Tuffin and Marion Foale opened their Carnaby Street boutique in 1961. Highly talented colourists, the designers were celebrated for their unusual combinations of patterned fabrics, often Liberty designs, and playful cut. Jill wore the collarless shirt and trousers with a jacket from Yves Saint Laurent for a less flamboyant look.(2008)
