Fan with brass guards, chased with Chinese figures and include acanthus leaves. The sticks are of filigree with 'spiralling' roundels. Part of the filigree is filled in with blue and green enamel work. The narrow leaf has the common multi-figure scene in sombre colours, pasted-on ivory faces and silk cloth. On the back are birds among flowering foliage. With a case of cream-coloured silk with couched work, including gilt thread, showing flowers and cash. A silk strap with two amethyst coloured stones sliding on it is at the top end.
