Sleeveband of satin embroidered with coloured silk and silver threads in Chinese knot stitch and couched work, lined with brown silk.
Design of rocks from which spring flowers including chrysanthemum and narcissus, amongst which appear grasshoppers and other insects. All embroidered with green, blue, pink and white silk and silver-gilt threads.
Once a pair, the sleeve bands were joined together and mounted as a panel, edged with woven braid and with a border of black satin embroidered with prunus, peony and narcissus in blue and white silks.
