'Guinness In Festival Land'. Colour half-tone print poster advertising Guinness, at the time of the 1951 Festival of Britain, parodying a passage from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. The design features characters from Alice in Wonderland, including: Alice, handing out glasses of Guinness to the Mad Hatter; a knight in shining armour; The Walrus; The White Rabbit; The Queen of Hearts. At the bottom of the page, there is a large canopy marquee with a smiling sun-like face. In the middle of the page, there is a poem extoling the virtues of Guinness and The Festival. Signed and dated, eric fraser '51.
