In the centre is Padmadambhava with his two of his female disciples on each side and below, eight different forms of Padmasambhava, monks and goddesses; above him are Avalokitehvara with two Bodhisattvas, Amitayus and Dharmakayabhadra (blue, in yabyum); directly above, outside the rainbow circle are Sakyamuni with R. Maitreya and L.Dipankara; in the sky, gods and goddesses are dancing in worship of Padmasambhava; below, right, Padmasambhava is seen leaving his palace on a rainbow to visit the world of the Rakshasas which is shown along the bottom of the tangka.
