Bed curtain (Palampore) formed of a portion of a bed spread of cotton chintz drawn and painted by hand in dye colours. Lower half of a bed spread. To one side is a mound of imbricated rockery on which are peacocks, deer and vases of flowers. From its summit grows a tree with widely spreading branches of flowers and leaves reaching up to a half medallion of radiating flowering branches. Wide border with repetitions of diagonally disposed flowering branches.

Physical description
Bed curtain (Palampore) formed of a portion of a bed spread of cotton chintz drawn and painted by hand in dye colours. Lower half of a bed spread. To one side is a mound of imbricated rockery on which are peacocks, deer and vases of flowers. From its summit grows a tree with widely spreading branches of flowers and leaves reaching up to a half medallion of radiating flowering branches.
