Ceremonial garland embroidered in silver-gilt thread, spangles, strips and plaited tinsel braid with touches of black and magenta silk, and all on a canvas ground. The 'chain' has six circular panels worked on both sides with floral designs and edged with tinsel connected with each other by four-fold lengths of tinsel braid plaited concertina-wise. The semicircular pendant is shaped like an axe-head and is charged on both sides with a rendering of the Prince's arms. The pendant is fringed with tinsel and tinsel tassels.
