Complete length of striped cotton, with floral meanders alternating with flower buds, in blue, red, white and green. Resist-dyed and mordant-dyed with painted mustard yellow. Glazed or burnished, to give a glossy surface. Printed cartouche at one end gives the name of Ali Ahmad Sayyid and the Islamic date 1298.
