Object history | Said probably to have come from Rokri near Mianwalli, Punjab. This object together with IM 6-8 and 10-1927 were purchased from Mrs E Massy who wrote in a letter of 3rd Febuary 19127 '...They were discovered in the neighbourhood of the River Indus, in the vicinity of the saltmines, somewhere between Attock and Kalabugh. They were given by an Official of the Saltmines to Col. Massy, I.M.S. |
