Object history | This is one print of sixteen contained in a volume, and entitled 'Fraser's Views in Calcutta'. These colour aquatints with small details painted by hand in watercolour were developed from a water-colour drawing by James Baillie Fraser (1783-1856). Given by Mrs Reginald Smith, 11 Green Street, Mayfair, W.1. This acquisition information reflects that found in the Museum records (Asia Department registers and/or Central Inventory) as part of a 2023 provenance research project.
