Rectangular firman case (kharifa) of gilt leather covered with a transparent lacquer and with a fold-over flap terminated with three lobes. The pattern is picked out in colours. Slightly raised pattern consists of a lobed lattice-motive in whose compartments are detached trefoils on stems. Before the lacquer was applied, the pattern has been picked out in red, green and white on the gold ground. The flap is lined with plain orange coloured silk.
