Physical description

Veyr dark blue (black) silk embroidered with silk thread in chain stitch worked with a straight needle and 'Chinese' or blind knots. Design of a flowering plant emerging from a vase with peacocks on either side and floral meanders along the shoulder, arm, neck and waist hems. Worked in white, red, yellow and blue. Same design repeated on front and back.
