Jewel case of white and coloured felt embroidered with coloured silks in chain stitch, and the edges of the various pockets are overbound with cream-coloured silk ribbon. Lined on the back with printed cotton. Rectangular in shape and with a three-cornered top. Formed of 10 square and 8 triangular pieces of purple, green, yellow and white woollen felt, and embroidered in white, yellow, red and green with floral devices. The case contains 15 large and small pockets. The pattern on the back lining consists of rows of ovals and double lozenges in red-brown on a dark purple ground.
