Man's circular cap of green velvet embroidered with silver-gilt sequins and spirally-twisted thread in three thicknesses. Lining of rose-pink silk. Cylindrical with an unstiffened rounded top. Round the body runs a fillet of trefoils on scrolling stems edged above with a brattishing of flowerets and trefoil leaves. Above this fillet is a band of detached floral motives. At the centre of the crown is an applied round panel with an irregular device of flowers and leaves.
