A Manchu shoe for women of lower ranks characterised by its thick boat-shaped convex sole which consists of a wooden frame upon which white cotton cloth is stretched, with its heel covered in red cotton. It has a light blue silk satin upper densely embroidered with floral and plant motifs in pink, beige and green silk threads which extends to its vamp whose edge is outlined with a leather-like material, and a heel band lined in light blue silk satin stitched onto the back of the shoe.
