This glazed earthenware tobacco holder (chillum) for a water pipe was probably made in Peshawar. It was acquired by the Indian Museum in London, and transferred to the South Kensington Museum in 1879.

Physical description
This glazed earthenware tobacco holder for a water pipe has a cup-shaped upper section with lotus-petal border resting on a circular element set with a mirror on both sides. The flaring lower section has applied peacocks on each side. The glaze is green and yellow.
