Transferred from the India Museum in 1879. India Museum Slip book entry 6250: 'Turban / Ahmedabad Bombay / 1867 / Price Rs. 9-8 / Original nos.108 / Yellow cotton with golds ends'. A swatch cut from this piece appears as a chromolithograph in John Forbes Watson's Collection of specimens and illustrations of the textile manufactures of India: Second series (1874), vol.1, No.62.
