Volume containing designs (340) for papier mache for interior decoration and furniture on 290 sheets cut and pasted down on 119 pages of wove paper, 16 of them blank, bound in vellum boards. British, 1835-64.Lettered with reference numbers between 1 and 1530 and dimensions. Number 248 lettered Chas F. Bielefeld, Modeller & Manufacr. to be h[]d at the Works 15, Wellington St. North Strand. Number 1105 lettered Any pattern selected can be mounted with emblemsappropriate for the Art Union prints at a slight advance in price. Design following number 1138 lettered Morrison's Lithog. Inscribed inside the flyleaf in pencil in German Musterbuch [Book of patterns]. Inscribed in ink with reference numbers,alphabetical key to components, and prices. One blank sheet signed and dated Alfred Jones Sept 1852, a slight sketch signed and dated A. Spinks January 31st, 1876.
