Object history
Acquired at the 1867 Paris exhibition for Rs. 1-13-6. It still bears its exhibitiion label on which it is termed "one peice Gujiany or silk cloth".
Production
Made for the Paris exhibition of 1867. It still bears the original label on the back which states that it is from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
