Cup and saucer of porcelain, painted with overglaze enamels in the famille rose palette and gilt, with a European classical scene. The cup with sides rounded below and everted at the lip; the saucer of plain shape with rounded sides similarly spreading at the lip; low foot. Painted round the sides of the cup and inside the saucer is a design of two crabs and two shrimps among water weeds and grasses.
