Octagonal cup with gently spreading and rising sides, the flat faces rounded below to a rather small circular foot, neatly turned. Fine creamy-white porcelain, painted in a palette of leaf-green, red, yellow, greyish aubergine and black enamels and gilt. The upright panels are decorated with sprays of lotus, chrysanthemum, prunus and camellia, the series once repeated, with borders of 'classic scroll' above and below in red; inside in the centre is a rosette.

Octagonal cup with gently spreading and rising sides, the flat faces rounded below to a rather small circular foot, neatly turned. Fine creamy-white porcelain, painted in a palette of leaf-green, red, yellow, greyish aubergine and black enamels and gilt.
