Bowl of shallow form, with footring bevelled on the inside edge. Glazed inside with a brown glaze that has run to an uneven line half-way down the outside. Kiln grit is imbedded in the surface of the pitted glaze. The lower part of the outside, footring and base are unglazed to show the coarse grey body. On the outside are stuck three old paper labels.
