Pair of doors in painted and lacquered wood. Both consist of two small square panels at the top and bottom, with a middle oblong oblong panel, set within a moulded framework. The doors are decorated with medallions surrounding figural subjects, themselves surrounded by arabesque designs and inscriptions in Persian which border the outer mouldings of the panels.

Production | An inscription on the doors gives the production date as 1102 AH/1690-1 AD. However, this is believed to be falsely archaising, and a 19th Century date is more likely. |
