Shiva as the slayer of the elephant demon, Gajasura ('Gajasurasamharamurti'). The god is pink-skinned, four-armed and stands facing to the front, upon the elephant-demon's head, the remainder of the elephant-skin forming the background. Shiva holds the trishula (trident) in two hands and with the others he holds the deer and the drum.
