Object history | This is one of a group of wallpapers by John Aldridge and Edward Bawden which remained at Place House, Great Bardfield, Essex at the time of John Aldridge's death and which were bequeathed by him to Dr. E.A.O. Whiteman and Ian Tregarthen Jenkin. The papers were divided up and given to three institutions: the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture at the University of Middlesex, and the V&A. |
