Originally an album containing thirty five paintings of various processions including funerals, marriages, offical reviews and inside the law courts. The full series is numbered D.2-1898 to D.36-1898.
Purchased from Parsons & Sons, accessioned in 1898. This acquisition information reflects that found in the Asia Department registers, as part of a 2022 provenance research project.
